1. There were 15 Teams with 75 participants.
2. E-Bootathon 01 was a combination of Bootcamp & Hackathon. The event was organized by Rajkiya Engineering College Banda in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, INAE Kanpur Chapter and AKTU Lucknow.
3. The Outcomes of this event are as follows: “15” Participating teams were awarded with certificate for developing Virtual Lab and Total “23” Virtual Lab Experiments have been developed in the event. “75” participants in the form of 15 teams got hands-on training of Virtual Lab development.

Hacktech is a Hack-A-Thon organized by Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Rajkiya Engineering College Banda. It’s a non-stop product development competition using digital technologies, where problem statements are posed to students for innovative solutions. Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the peak in India. In order to make development a comprehensive mass movement and innovate on all fronts.
IIC REC Banda conducted Hackathon, for identifying new and disruptive technology innovations to solve the challenges faced in our country. The shortlisted top teams got a chance to develop a solution in 24 hours at the college campus.

Development of Virtual Labs experiments Bootathon is a combination of Bootcamp & Hackathon.
The event was organized by Rajkiya Engineering College Banda in collaboration with IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi. There were On Campus 27 Teams with 250 Participants.The Outcomes of this event are as follows:
1. Participants (both Faculty and Students) created new experiments and their creation has been hosted on the Community Portal Vlabs-Dev “www.vlabs.iitb.ac.in/vlabs-dev/”
2. Total 48 Virtual Lab Experiments were developed.
Students visited various labs of the incubation centre which are being provided to the incubatees, such as Microbiology lab,Sterilization lab,Cell Culture lab etc. They also visited “4i” laboratory where they witnessed many conventional machines such as CNC milling machine, and non conventional machines such as Electron Discharge Machine,Laser cutting machine,Water Jet Cutting Machine etc. Students also interacted with the incubators and clarified all their doubts and queries regarding start up and incubation. Overall it was a very informative and motivating visit for the students.
Mr. Mohit Srivastava, Mr. Balram Singh, Mr. Sandeep Dwivedi and Mr. Devendra Mohan were the dignitaries who honored the participants with their sessions and enlightened them too.
About 105 students from 22 technical institutes across the country participated in the online coding event. Deepanshu Singhal from MIET Meerut won the completion while Suyash Khare from REC Banda and Vishesh Jindal from MIET Meerut became the 1st and the 2nd runner up respectively
It was successfully conducted in collaboration with Shenzhen Mingda Technology Co. Ltd, China and Empyrean Robotics Technology Pvt. Ltd, India. Speakers of webinar Mr. Sam, Ms. Christy Lv, Ms. Theresa Guo, Mr. Suraj Yadav and Mr. Shivesh Gaur elaborated about the Utility, Importance and Significance of 3D Printer and its product and also showed the Demo of Printer and its production work.
Theme: Ideas for maintaining Social Distancing in college, hostels and classes after COVID-19 and suggestions for fighting against Corona. During Covid-19 Ideathon was an online short, intensive, brainstorming event to help young talents generate fresh solutions to existing challenges. 56 teams have registered and submitted their ideas for this event. Top 10 ideas were selected for second round which was held on 11 June 2020. The Chief Judge was Mr. Ashish Kanaujiya External Member I Create Gujarat and Mr. Saubhagaya KIET Gaziabad. Kaushal Sharma of MGMCET Noida secured First position for his idea of ‘Distance maintaining watch’, Uttam Sharma of HBTU Kanpur secured second position for his idea of ‘Low cost foot operated hand dispensing system’ and Akshita Gupta of PSIT Kanpur secured third position for her idea on ‘An app for tracking suspected people’.
The students are motivated by three motivational speakers Mr. Suneel Pankaj (SIDBI), Prem Prakash( SIDBI) & Shaival Bhatnagar (IED Lucknow) on the topic such as Entrepreneurship , Startup and shared some inspiring success stories.
The speaker thoroughly explains the procedure of patent filing and criteria of patent evaluation the participants also understand which product or process can be filed for patent.
The main objective of this workshop was to improve the Cognitive skills and critical thinking of student to solve any problems. Also discussed some points related to Leadership skills and how student can manage stress during high workload.
