The two day workshop on "FUSION 360" was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rajkiya Engineering College, Banda in association with Autodesk, held on 18th and 19th April 2016. The workshop was attended by more than 60 participants/students. The technical part of the workshop was covered by Mr. Jasbir Singh and Mr. Kushal Singh who are the certified Autodesk Designer. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D CAD/CAM tool for product development that combines industrial and mechanical design, collaboration, and machining in a single package. The tools in Fusion 360 enable fast and easy exploration of design ideas with an integrated concept-to-production toolset. Fusion 360 is natively written for both Mac and PC, allowing you to use your preferred OS or both. First day (18/04/2016) In the beginning of the workshop Mr. Kushal Singh introduces the participants with the basic of Computer Aided Design in the respect of fusion 360. He explained about software used, the scope in designing field and about the industry scope. Then in practice session, he introduced to the basics of the software 'Autodesk Fusion 360' like how to draw lines, circles, splines and all other sketching tools. Second day (19/04/2016) On the second day, he gave to the students various types of exercises to draw models in 3-D using different tools.
