The Department of Information Technology at Rajkiya Engineering College, Banda offers a four-year B.Tech programme with an intake of sixty students. Accredited by the NBA (2022–2024), the department is recognized for its strong academic foundation and vibrant learning environment. It has also received two CST-UP funded projects, reflecting its growing involvement in research and development. The programme aims to produce graduates with technical proficiency, analytical skills, and the adaptability required to excel in the rapidly evolving IT industry.
A major strength of the department is its team of well-qualified and highly committed faculty members, who combine academic excellence with industry and research exposure. They provide close mentorship and guide students in developing both conceptual understanding and practical competence.
